The set (for She Kills Monsters) was very effective at subtly representing a D&D game board but more importantly providing various mysterious locations in Tilly’s complicated psyche. Off-kilter platforms, traps, yawning cave mouths and strips of knotted fabric offered wonderful atmosphere and playing spaces.
